About Me

Hey everyone! My name is Andrew and I’m an internet marketer.

Jumping off a roofI am 15 years old and I’m a sophomore in high school. I try to live the normal life of a teenager, and for the most part, I do. I still do crazy stuff, sneak out at night, hang out with friends, and go to parties. My friends don’t really understand what I do, but I’m fine with that. I really am just a normal kid. Actually my life is probably similar to yours.

The only downside to making money online is that it does require some time in front of a PC. Most of the time, I am able to do what I want. However, there are those days when I have to get something done by my deadline (even though I work for myself, I do set deadlines to help stay on task).

When did you start your first website?

When I was the age of 12, I created my first website about web security. It wasn’t that great, it was a Geocities site (created by their web builder), and I had the domain on a .tk extension. It was pretty basic and I wrote a few articles and tutorials to removing spyware. Basically, I told them to download anti-virus programs and anti-spyware. If I would’ve known about internet marketing at that time, I would’ve promoted some anti-spyware software from Clickbank. Back then, I had no idea you could make money from websites. Eventually, my security site faded away.

When did you start making money online?

When I was 13, I started surfing the web and found one of those “get paid to take surveys” site. They had a forum that showed other member’s Paypal payments and checks, so what did I have to lose? I signed up for the site and started filling out some offers. Before I knew it, I had my first check in the mail. I continued to do this for a year and was able to make a little over $1,000.

Then I started getting into building websites, buying domains, etc. My first successful site was about those “get paid to surveys”. I threw up my referral URLs and made a simple HTML template. Before I knew it, my first “real” site was up. Eventually, I threw some Google Adsense on it, discovered what Clickbank was, sold banners, and started selling text links.

Just as other internet entrepreneurs, once I started making some good money with my first real site, I made some more. First it was an arcade, then an entertainment site (videos, mostly), and then a few niche websites. Of course, I monetized each website.

What are your goals?

Since I am currently 15, I hope to be able to not have to get a summer job at the end of the school year, and be able to be making $2000/month by the time I’m 18. Hopefully I will be able to get a steady income by then and be able to pay for a good chunk of my college where I plan to get a computer-science or marketing degree.

Does anyone inspire you?

Yes, Zac Johnson is a huge inspirations to me. He is my inspiration because he is able to make money from both PPC and niche websites (without PPC). I respect his ability to be able to work from home and hold down a steady income. He is a huge role model to me, and his blog has a great deal of knowledge. I someday hope to fill his shoes.
